When I was 11, my parents bought me a keyboard (and quickly regretted it). In the noisy years which followed, I wrote and arranged my own songs – plucking up enough courage to play them for my very patient friends. As hard as it is to believe, I was shy and embarrassed about my hobby…until spring 2025 when I attended Laura Marling‘s song writing workshops with the School of Song . I met some amazingly talented artists and began to embrace my plinky plonky whimsical style. Through this community, I found the confidence to perform my songs live … and start recording.
