🎶 Welcome to Violaville – a virtual music lounge. 🎶
Home to the songs, lyrics and recordings I’ve performed under the stage name Viola VV Fox.
When I was 11 my parents bought me a keyboard. And I never let it go. In the noisy years which followed, I composed, wrote and arranged my own songs.
As hard as it is to believe, I was shy and embarrassed about my hobby. My peers played tennis, studied yoga and got sensible jobs as doctors and laywers. Meanwhile I’m playing plinky plonky piano and singing my heart out!
In spring 2025, I attended Laura Marling‘s song writing workshops with the School of Song . I met some amazingly talented artists. Through this community, I found the confidence to perform my songs live … and start recording.
Viola VV Fox plays at open mic nights across Manchester UK. Including the Art of Tea (Didsbury), 99 Reasons (Chorlton) and Nook (Heaton Moor).
